Advice for New Bloggers

On Wednesday I will be visiting Mr. Field's writing class to help them start blogs.  As experienced bloggers, what advice do you have for the class?

  1. Blog on a topic that you really like and know about

  2. i would say be smart and dont put anything you will regret putting up. it is a good idea to do your work efficently and put videos and other clips from what your writing about.

  3. If I was starting a blog, I would remember to keep updating it frequently. If there is too much time between your posts, the stories usually don't relate to each other at all and are hard to follow. Blogging is pretty easy if you just write down whatever comes to your mind and are not afraid to share it.

  4. I would tell them to always reread what they write. Also I would advise them to always blog about things that you want to learn more about or have an interest in learning. You should put links and clips up of the video or website you are blogging about so it makes sense to the reader.

  5. When ever you feel you want to get your opinion out on something just blog about it, blogging is a great way to communicate with people all around the world

  6. blog on something yuo atre very comfortable with. also some thing that is semi popular through out teenage life.

  7. Anyone can read your blog so make sure you do not put anything up that you will regret.

  8. Blog about something that you're passionate about. Once you've found something to blog about read other people's blog with similar interests to draw inspiration from.

  9. I would tell them to make the blogs interesting for the reader to read otherwise no one will continue reading it.

  10. Blog about something that actually interests you so you have a lot to say. When I blog about something I care about, I write a lot better than when I blog about something that doesn't really interst me.

  11. Don't blog about something to just "blog". Blog about what interests you.

  12. Puting your thoughts in your blog post about something you are interested in is a great experience.

  13. i say blog about things that interest you and have fun with it. you can also blog about your opinions. you never know what you have to say can make a difference to many people.

  14. write about anything you find interesting, capture your audience! If you write passionately, than you'll more likely be a great blogger. :)
